Reduces body fat and provides more strength than slower cardio sessions alone. Better results in less time.

Strengthens the cardiovascular system. Skeletal muscles and heart benefit from high intensity bursts and leisurely recovery periods.

What is a sprint?
A short, but fast run that lasts less than 1 minute. Speed up as fast as you can go. Make sure to incorporate resting periods for recovery.
How do I sprint?
The best place to sprint is outdoors on a track, but can also be done on a treadmill. Run as fast as you can for at least 10 seconds, but less than a minute. Then, walk at a comfortable pace to fully recover before your next repetition. The goal is to have each rep as close to full speed as possible. Towards the end of your repetitions, it should become more difficult; but, this is a good thing, as it means that your muscles are fatiguing and your workout is working. If it is too easy, crank up the speed!
